SOCIAL WORK

"We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give.
- Winston Churchil."

No matter how many peaks of success we claim, we believe all of it to be hollow until it helps the society somehow. Along with marking the name of our country in golden letters globally through pristine-quality product, we have some missions to make change on a grass-root level.

CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME!

In this case, we’ve tried our best to prove it right!

We constantly try to come up with new approaches that assure more and more jobs and learning opportunities to our workers.

Apart from that, we have developed a green environment to our plant by planting trees in and around our factory and mines.

WATER: SAVING AND PROVISION

Water is the driving force of all nature. Apart from saving more and more water during the processing of minerals, we aim at increasing the availability of it at remote places.

VMPL has funded water-tanks in Government School in Loharwada and in the village itself.

LOHARWADA GOVERNMENT SCHOOL:
ASSURING A BRIGHT FUTURE THROUGH ENCOURAGEMENT!

Loharwada Government Schoolis a local Government school which only had basic facilities for its kids. We tried bringing a smile on the children’s faces by funding for an open stage for cultural activities, and token prizes.

Apart from that, we’ve introduced scholarships and medals for encouraging the bright future of these kids. Also, we’ve distributed woollen sweaters to assure healthy winters!

However, this is just a start. We’re looking forward to contribute this and more to other under-privileged schools.

CURRENT WORK AND FUTURE PLANS

Progress can’t be achieved without keeping yourself updated with changing times and its trends. VMPL is already an example of it. But we believe that right from the childhood, children must be taught basic skills that’ll help them survive in the real world once they grow up.

There’s no counter opinion to the fact that in present time, fluency in English and familiarity with computers can help anyone survive.

And hence, we’re working with various school administrations to provide a better training to the students in these two factors.

Speaking of future plans, apart from expanding the current activities in more schools, we aim to plant more and more trees to government roads along with assuring tree-guards and regular maintenance of them!
